BIM NEWS:

Destinations Credit Union now has an official partnership with us! Destinations designed a special plan used ONLY for BIM students. It is a new way to make an education BIM possible and affordable! Thank Executive Consultant Dennis Hill for his efforts in getting this started.

Jordan Starnes ’12- Talk about being in the right place at the right time! Recent grad., Jordan, was interning for WTTR Radio in Westminster, Md. When the morning News Anchor up and quit. Jordan landed the job immediately. Be sure to check out his casts!

Joe Stevens ’75- Colin Lewis ’73 would like to thank Joe (Deiss) for keeping us posted! He let us know that Andy Parks ’74 is now working at WTNT (Washington Times). We know Andy is a busy guy but hope that he gets in touch soon to fill us in on the details! Congratulations! PS- Joe is the Director of Media for The Media Center.

Andromeda (Meda) Bacchus ’00- The previous BIM Studio Supervisor came to visit and check in with Education Director Lois Carrigan ’96 this week. Meda has worked as a Personal Assistant to the lead in Dream Girls since 2009. She’s also worked for the Lion King in New York as well. Occasionally she works on solos at the Duplex Cabaret Theater in Manhattan. Thanks for staying in touch!
 

Bob Hough ’94- Bob contacted Public Relations and Admissions Director Jess Byrum ’07 this week to catch up! Bob is a Sports Writer for the Capital Gazette. He met a young lady who also works there who talked about her degree in the Broadcasting/Communications field. He began telling her his story about how he get started when she replied, “Wait, did you go to BIM?”. We must be pretty darn popular!

James Finn ’12 - James finished his final day as an intern for Norris and Davis on 105.7 The FAN. He described it as a great atmosphere and a good bunch of people to work with. “It was the best time I ever had at 5:30 AM.” He is moving on to bigger and better opportunities… like his new JOB at XM and Sirius Radio!

Brianna (Brie) Gebauer ’12 - Keep Brie in your thoughts and prayers. Her aunt passed away this week. Your BIM family is thinking of you during this difficult time…

 
Dennis Greensfelder ’08 - Our Director of Television Production will return next week. He had surgery on his tonsils, adenoids, uvula and had tubes put in his ears.
